First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether special cooking classes can help prevent type 2 diabetes in people who are at high risk, including those with prediabetes. About 120 adults from underrepresented groups will take part in a 6-week program that teaches healthy cooking and nutrition. Some participants will also wear a continuous glucose monitor to see how food affects their blood sugar. The goal is to see if the program is practical, well-liked, and can improve eating habits and health markers like blood sugar and weight.
