Summary
This study looks at how obesity and body fat affect heart disease risk in 2,000 healthy African American men and women aged 18-70. Researchers will measure body fat, blood fats, and insulin function to find out why heart disease risk factors differ between African Americans and Caucasians. The goal is to better understand these differences to improve prevention and treatment.
