Summary

This study looked at how the amount of salt in the diet changes the effects of the diabetes drug ertugliflozin on blood pressure and kidney function. Overweight adults with type 2 diabetes followed either a low-salt or high-salt diet while taking the drug or a placebo. The goal was to understand why some people get more benefit from this type of medication than others.
