New program aims to prevent depression in parents of down syndrome babies

Summary
This study tests a specially designed program to help prevent depression in new and expectant parents of infants with Down syndrome. The program adds extra support for grief and social connections to an existing proven method. About 72 parents will take part in a small pilot study to see if the approach is helpful and practical.
