Summary

This study tests whether the drug denosumab can help prevent bone fractures in people with type 2 diabetes who are at high risk for osteoporosis. About 358 adults aged 50 and older (or postmenopausal women aged 45+) will receive denosumab or a placebo. The goal is to see if the drug improves bone density and reduces the chance of new fractures.
