Simulation training boosts dementia care skills

Summary
This study tested a training program for home care workers who care for people with dementia. The program used realistic scenarios to help workers improve their empathy, preparedness, and competence. 70 full-time home care workers took part. The goal was to see if this type of training makes workers feel more confident and skilled in providing person-centered care.
