Summary
This study tested a training program for home care workers who care for people with dementia. The program used realistic scenarios to help workers build empathy, feel more prepared, and improve their caregiving skills. 70 full-time home care workers took part, and the study measured changes in their empathy, preparedness, competence, and sense of reward.
