Deaf adults get tailored therapy to break mental health barriers

Summary

This study tests a two-session Zoom program called Deaf CBT-TS for Deaf adults who have untreated depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, or alcohol problems. The goal is to change negative beliefs about treatment and encourage them to seek professional help. Researchers will also check if the program reduces suicidal thoughts and improves hope. Participants are randomly assigned to the program or a waitlist, and followed for 4 months.
