First seen May 07, 2026 ยท Last updated May 07, 2026
Summary
This early-phase study tests whether a single infusion of special immune cells (regulatory dendritic cells) from a living kidney donor can safely reduce the risk of organ rejection in the recipient. Fourteen kidney transplant patients will receive the cell infusion one week before surgery and be monitored for two years. The main goal is to check for serious side effects, infections, or rejection episodes.
