Summary
This study compared a new medicine called dasiglucagon to the standard glucagon shot for treating severe low blood sugar in 38 Asian adults and Japanese teens with type 1 diabetes. Both medicines are designed to quickly raise blood sugar during emergencies. The goal was to see if dasiglucagon works as well as glucagon. Participants received both treatments in a random order over about 17 weeks.
