New radiation implant shows promise for tough pancreatic cancers

Summary

This study tests a new device that delivers a special type of radiation directly into pancreatic tumors. It is for people with advanced pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. The main goals are to see if the procedure is safe and possible to do. About 37 participants will be enrolled.
