Summary
This pilot study tested a program called DAPPER for African American women aged 50 and older who have pain, depressive symptoms, and trouble moving around. Participants received 8 nurse visits at home to help them manage their pain and mood. The study measured changes in pain intensity, depression scores, and inflammation markers to see if the program was helpful.
