Summary

This pilot study tested a program called DAPPER for African American women aged 50 and older who have pain, depressive symptoms, and trouble moving around. Participants received 8 nurse visits at home to help manage their pain and mood. The study measured changes in pain intensity and depression scores, as well as inflammatory markers in saliva.
