First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study aims to develop better ways to measure how much energy people with Parkinson's use during dance classes. Researchers will use cameras, wearable activity monitors, and questionnaires to track dance intensity and link it to daily activities and health. About 60 adults with mild to moderate Parkinson's who already attend Dance for PD® classes will participate. The goal is to improve understanding of dance as a form of physical activity, not to test a treatment or cure.
