Milk and yogurt after a workout: a tiny study checks bone and inflammation effects
NCT ID NCT06041087
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This small study looked at whether dairy products like skim milk and Greek yogurt, taken right after intense exercise, affect bone turnover and inflammation in healthy young adults. Twenty participants did high-intensity exercise and then consumed either dairy, a carbohydrate drink, or water. The goal was to see if dairy changes bone cell activity or the body's inflammatory response compared to the other drinks.
