Could a simple amino acid make brain stimulation work better for depression?

Summary

This early-phase study tests whether adding D-serine (an amino acid) to transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) can improve depression symptoms more than TMS alone. About 60 adults with major depressive disorder will receive 30 treatment sessions. The goal is to see if the combination leads to greater mood improvement.
