Summary

This study tests whether the drug cytisinicline changes how the brain reacts to seeing smoking-related images in daily smokers who are not trying to quit. Sixty-four participants will receive either the drug or a placebo and undergo brain scans while watching videos of smoking and non-smoking cues. The goal is to understand the brain mechanisms behind reduced cravings, which could inform better treatments for tobacco use disorder.
