First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a training program for nurses who care for children with cancer can improve their knowledge and habits around central venous catheter care. Central lines are tubes that deliver medicine, but they can cause serious infections if not handled correctly. The study will involve 30 nurses and measure changes in their knowledge and infection prevention behaviors before and after training.
