Summary

This study looked at whether a version of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) adapted for South Asian culture could help reduce depression and anxiety. About 146 Canadian adults of South Asian origin with mild to severe symptoms took part. Researchers worked with community members and therapists to create a therapy that fits cultural needs, then tested it in a controlled trial.
