Summary
This study tested whether a cultural arts program could reduce depressive symptoms and age-related self-stigma in older adults. 63 participants aged 60+ who were at risk for depression took part. The program involved creative arts activities, and results were compared to usual services. The goal was to see if art can improve mental health and reduce negative feelings about aging.
