First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether opening a completely blocked heart artery with a procedure called PCI, on top of taking standard heart medications, helps people live longer and feel better compared to medications alone. About 2000 adults with stable heart disease and symptoms like chest pain or shortness of breath are taking part. The main goals are to see if the procedure reduces deaths and improves quality of life.
