New drug trial targets debilitating dizziness in Parkinson's patients

NCT ID NCT07089043

Summary

This study is testing an experimental oral medication called CST-3056 to see if it can reduce symptoms like dizziness and lightheadedness in people with neurogenic orthostatic hypotension (nOH), a condition that causes a severe drop in blood pressure upon standing. The trial will enroll about 12 adults with nOH, often linked to Parkinson's disease, to find the best dose and measure its effects on blood pressure and symptom severity over five days of treatment.
