First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether applying cryotherapy (cold treatment) during a pulpotomy—a procedure that removes infected nerve tissue from a tooth—improves the chance of saving the tooth. Researchers will compare success rates in 140 adults with deep cavities. Success means no pain, no signs of infection, and normal X-rays over time.
