Chill out: cooling hands and feet may stop chemo nerve pain

Summary

This study looks at whether cryotherapy (cooling therapy) can help prevent nerve damage caused by the chemotherapy drug oxaliplatin in people with stage III colon cancer. About 40 participants will use cold packs on their hands and feet during treatment. The goal is to see if this simple approach reduces the risk of painful tingling or numbness.
