Summary
This study tests a procedure called cryoneurolysis, which uses cold to freeze specific nerves in the shoulder, to see if it relieves pain and improves movement in people with spasticity (muscle tightness) after stroke, brain injury, or multiple sclerosis. It compares the freezing technique to the usual treatment—Botox injections—in 50 adults. The goal is to find out if freezing works as well or better and lasts longer, with fewer repeat treatments.
