Summary

This study tests a new way to manage pain from broken ribs by freezing the nerves that cause pain. It involves 24 adults with rib fractures who will receive either standard pain care plus the freezing treatment or standard care alone. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and helps reduce pain and the need for painkillers over three months.
