Summary

This study looked at whether using a CPAP machine (commonly used for sleep apnea) during radiation therapy can reduce the amount of radiation reaching the lungs. Eight people with left-sided breast cancer or lung cancer took part. Researchers compared lung radiation doses with and without the CPAP device to see if it offered protection.
