Summary
This study aims to create a test that can predict how hospitalized COVID-19 patients will fare in the short and long term (up to one year). Researchers will enroll 600 adults from hospitals and Veterans' populations, using both clinical data and molecular markers. The goal is to better identify patients at risk for complications like frailty, organ failure, or death, helping doctors tailor care and follow-up.
