Summary

This study tests whether special skin substitutes made from donated human umbilical cord tissue, used along with standard wound care, can help close hard-to-heal venous leg ulcers faster than standard care alone. About 272 adults with open leg wounds that haven't healed after 4 to 52 weeks of standard treatment will be enrolled. The main goal is to see if more ulcers close completely within 12 weeks using the cord-based products.
