Lung rehab shows promise for tough COPD complication
NCT ID NCT07202793
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a standard exercise and breathing program (pulmonary rehabilitation) helps people who have both COPD and pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs). Researchers reviewed medical records of 59 adults who completed at least three weeks of rehab. They compared those with and without pulmonary hypertension to see if both groups improved their walking distance and stayed safe. The goal is to understand if this common treatment works well for this harder-to-treat group.
