Ice vs. High-Tech cool: which eases hand surgery pain best?

Summary
This study compares a continuous cooling therapy device to traditional ice packs for managing pain after open carpal tunnel release surgery. About 128 adults having the surgery will be randomly assigned to one of the two cooling methods. Researchers will measure pain levels and hand function to see if the device offers better relief.
