ICU sedation showdown: which model keeps patients safely asleep?

NCT ID NCT07239687

First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at two computer programs (Eleveld and Schnider) that help doctors give the right amount of propofol sedation to patients on breathing machines in the ICU. Researchers will check how well each program keeps patients at the right sedation level, how stable their heart and blood pressure are, and how quickly they wake up. The goal is to find which method is safer and more reliable for ICU patients.
