Summary

This study compares two blood tests (PTT and anti-Xa) used to monitor the blood thinner heparin in hospitalized patients with blood clots. The goal is to see which test helps doctors adjust the medication to the right level more quickly. About 700 adults at Vanderbilt University Hospital will take part, and the results may improve how heparin is managed in the future.
