Could waiting on antibiotics be safer for kids with pneumonia?

Summary
This study looks at whether a 'watch and wait' approach to giving antibiotics can safely reduce unnecessary use in children with mild pneumonia. About 2,000 children will be randomly assigned to either get antibiotics right away or wait 72 hours to see if they improve on their own. The goal is to find a way to use fewer antibiotics while still helping kids get better.
