NCT ID NCT07647835

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a 3-day course of amoxicillin works as well as a 5-day course for children aged 3 months to 5 years with uncomplicated pneumonia. The goal is to see if shorter treatment can reduce side effects, lower costs, and fight antibiotic resistance. About 250 children will take part, and their recovery will be checked at day 14.
