Community helpers may boost quality of life for black cancer patients

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a community health worker to standard care can improve quality of life and advance care planning for African American patients with advanced cancer. About 160 patients and their caregivers will take part. The goal is to see if this extra support helps patients feel better and make important care decisions.
