Personalized cancer test could end Trial-and-Error treatment
NCT ID NCT07500259
First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study is testing a new method called Personalized Functional Profiling (PFP) for people with colorectal or pancreatic cancer. The method combines genetic testing with lab-grown mini-tumors (organoids) to see which drugs might work best for each patient. Researchers will compare the lab predictions with how patients actually respond to standard treatments. The goal is to see if this approach can reliably guide treatment decisions in the future.
