Summary
This study tested whether applying cold packs to the thighs can reduce muscle pain, swelling, and inflammation after exercise. 48 healthy adults aged 18–30 performed a workout to cause muscle soreness, then used the Axanova Cold Hot Pearls Maxi Pack for 20 minutes three times a day. Researchers measured pain, swelling with ultrasound, and blood markers of inflammation over 72 hours.
