Summary

This study is testing whether colchicine, a low-cost anti-inflammatory medication, can help protect the heart in people with chronic kidney disease. It will involve about 20 participants to see if the drug improves heart function and reduces inflammation. The goal is to find a new way to manage the increased risk of heart problems that often comes with kidney disease.
