Summary
This study tests a therapy called Targeted Cognitive Training (TCT) for veterans with serious mental illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or PTSD. TCT uses brain exercises to improve how the brain processes information, with the goal of boosting thinking skills and daily function. Researchers will use EEG brainwave tests to identify which veterans are most likely to benefit. The study involves 80 veterans from VA rehab centers and tracks changes in symptoms, cognition, and real-world abilities over time.
