New combo therapy aims to sharpen thinking and social skills in older schizophrenia patients

Summary

This study tests whether adding executive function training to cognitive-behavioral social skills training helps older adults (60+) with schizophrenia learn skills better and improve daily living. About 49 participants will take part. The goal is to see if the combined approach is practical and leads to meaningful gains in functioning.
