First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at whether 20 hours of computer-based executive function training could improve thinking skills and quality of life in adults over 40 with HIV-related cognitive issues. About 119 participants were assigned to either the training group or a no-contact control group. The goal was to see if the training was feasible and could reduce day-to-day mental variability and improve overall cognitive function.
