First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether a combined treatment plan—including physical therapy, behavioral health therapy, and medical procedures—could reduce symptoms of chronic bladder pain. Researchers compared this bundled approach to usual care in 26 women with interstitial cystitis or bladder pain syndrome. The main goal was to see if pain and urinary symptoms improved after 12 weeks using a standard pain scale.
