Summary
This study tested a new, faster care plan for people with chronic constipation at a University of Michigan gastroenterology clinic. Researchers wanted to see how often doctors ordered special tests and pelvic floor therapy, and how satisfied patients were with their care. The study involved 109 adults who had chronic constipation as their main symptom.
