Summary
This study tested a treatment called Chondron, which uses a patient's own cartilage cells grown in a lab and then placed back into the knee during surgery. The goal was to see if it safely reduces pain and improves knee function over 96 weeks in 10 people with knee cartilage damage from osteoarthritis or injury. The main focus was on pain changes at 48 weeks.
