First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study compares three different programs to help pregnant women maintain a healthy weight and avoid keeping on too much weight after giving birth. About 795 women who are early in pregnancy will join one of two special programs or receive standard care. The programs provide nutrition and exercise advice along with help overcoming barriers like food access. Researchers will track weight changes up to 12 months after delivery to see which approach works best.
