Can better sleep heal a traumatic past? study investigates link to heart health
NCT ID NCT06454344
Summary
This study aims to understand how poor sleep might connect difficult childhood experiences to early signs of blood vessel problems in young adults. Researchers will first observe 70 young adults, measuring their sleep and blood vessel health. Then, some participants with poor sleep and childhood trauma will try a 6-week sleep therapy program to see if improving sleep helps their blood vessels.
