First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a prehabilitation (prehab) exercise program can reduce memory loss, forgetfulness, and brain fog caused by chemotherapy in older adults with colorectal cancer. Researchers will enroll 86 physically inactive people aged 60-85 who are about to start chemotherapy. Participants will either do the prehab program or receive usual care, and the team will measure changes in brain activity, blood markers, and thinking skills.
