First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how a treatment called bronchoscopic lung volume reduction with endobronchial valves changes oxygen use during daily activities in people with severe COPD. About 20 patients scheduled for this treatment will perform simple tasks while wearing a portable oxygen monitor. The goal is to see if the treatment makes everyday activities easier by improving how the body uses oxygen.
