First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests two smartphone tools to help HIV-negative men who have sex with men stick to their daily PrEP medication and reduce methamphetamine use. One app supports PrEP adherence, the other provides cognitive-behavioral therapy for substance use. The study will enroll 100 participants in San Diego and San Francisco and follow them for 6 months to see if the program is easy to use and improves PrEP adherence.
