Summary
This study looked at whether adding an anti-cancer cream (5-fluorouracil) after surgery is an acceptable and useful treatment for cervical precancer in 180 women with HIV in South Africa. The goal was to see if women would stick with the treatment and find it acceptable. The study did not aim to cure the disease but to control it and prevent progression.
